Research Opportunities
Cutting edge scientific research is the driving force of our Department's continued success. It is also the platform by which our graduates and undergraduates get exposed to the thrill of scientific discovery, inspiring their academic success and future endeavors. Undergraduate research can be performed either under our special Chem 499 course, for credit, or by arrangement with a faculty member. Undergraduates who begin their research experience early (at least three semesters of undergraduate research) are often co-authors on refereed scientific publications that appear in high quality journals. Click here to see a list of such publications during the 2004-2010 period.
